Is it possible to automate the ECT so that the parameters change without having to adjust the knobs. It can be random or sequenced. Has anyone done this?
Yes, you can automate the ETC’s parameters via MIDI CC messages from external sources like Ableton, Max/MSP, Pure Data, other synths, etc. This is covered in the manual: http://etctv.io/#ETC’s_MIDI_Configuration
We made an Organelle patch that sends out CC loops. There’s also some phone apps that will do this too. Please see the videos in this post:
