… permanently on the organelle !?
thanks
stefan
at least a little hint how to get forced to set the current time/date manually via a dialogue (each time before you start X) would be highly appreciated … (I mean if there is no way for the organelle to store the date after being shut down …)
Not sure if there is a way to do this through the screen on the Organelle. I assume (but haven’t tried on the Organelle) that the standard way of manually setting date/time on Linux would apply.
For example:
sudo date --set ‘2016-04-26 18:26:00’
thanks for your reply. I got to that
point by myself, but when you reboot the date/time is always set
to “Oct 17 2015” … me, I assume that there is no battery in the
organelle, so it doesnot store time/date and a kind of workaround
would be to be forced to type in the current date all the time you
switch on organelle on the console. I mean, when you really start
to program your own patches, it can be very annoying when
everything you do is set to more or less the same date …

Maybe you could add a WiFi dongle for this purpose? I think getting datetime automatically from the internet is the only way you will be able to do it without cracking open the Organelle and seeing if you can add on hardware.
