Some people have been asking about the Organelle’s audio hardware specifications. They are:
1x ¼" Stereo Input: 44.1 kHz; 16 bit
2x ¼" Monophonic Output: Out 44.1 kHz; 16 bit

Very Nice… what’s the boot time ?
Boot time is about 20 seconds

Super - that was just the question I was about to ask. I’ve been reading up on the Raspberry Pi it would appear to not be terribly well suited to real-time audio and is only capable of 11-bit audio (weird).
Actually reduced boot time to around 12 seconds now! The Raspberry Pi is a great platform, but does require some extra hardware for real audio work…
