# Feedback Probem

Hi, i’m an absolute beginner with the organelle. can you please help me out…why is there a massive feedback going on when the inside speaker is activated?
Also, there is no recording possible in the basic sampler mode. can anybody help me?

the feedback occurs because the internal microphone and internal speaker are nearby to one another. it’s the same effect that occurs when you use your laptops internal speakers and microphone. you could use either headphones or an external microphone to overcome this. Headphones would be most effective. alternatively, disable the internal mic. check the manual for details.
basic sampler does not have a sample record function, that is normal for the patch. basic! perhaps try the ‘nori sampler’ patch or try searching ‘record’ on the [organelle.io](http://organelle.io) and [patchstorage.com/organelle](http://patchstorage.com/organelle) patch libraries.
