How to Equalizer?

How should one proceed to implement a 3 band equalizer that is not too CPU hungry on the organelle?
I was thinking of a combo of different filter objects (Lo/hi/band) and mixing their respective outputs.
Are there C&G patches that already contain EQs?

Electrafa had made a nice 2 band and 4 band eq for ORAC, I think you can find them on patch storage.
