EYESY OS v3 is available now! Download the new OS and follow the instructions in section 6.1 the EYESY User Manual v3 to upgrade your device.
The link to download OS v3.0 in the user manual seems to be broken. Can you direct me to that new OS file? Also, just confirming that v3.0 will run on the old (red) Eyesy
Has anyone else had a bizarre problem once they have flashed their SD card with the new OS? When I boot the eyesy I get a weird DOS type error asking me to press enter …
Is flashing the SD card on a card reader of different types an issue?
The plan was to get Lua and OpenFrameworks working alongside Python, but due to changes to the underlying operating system (which we had to upgrade to support newer WiFi adapters), we were struggling to get it working. Hopefully the situation improves in the future.
same here. I says something like “cannot acces directory. Root directory is locked”. Sorry, I don’t know exactly the words because I installed 2.3 again. I tried flashing 6 times. No trouble while flashing
No trouble flashing the card … and the error was the same as “EfeuWinterfest” mentioned … that is " “cannot access directory. Root directory is locked”.
It then asks for me to press enter etc … I will try and flash the card on a PC - usually that solves the problem!
Thanks for the update… I’ve been using a Mac to flash, I don’t know if I’ve tried flashing this specific disk image on PC, so that might be something to try.
