not sure if anyone has suggested this notion but I just wanted to throw it out there. Would anyone find it cool or useful to have a version of polybeats that one of the knobs instead of controlling for example volume for each sample you could control the pan of each sample? so each discrete key could be seeded somewhere in the stereo image? I might try to build it but it will be one of my first puredata projects so I wanted to put this idea out there first to see if one of you smarter folks could tell me “no that’s too hard/ thats not how it works” or that maybe it just generally wouldn’t be useful before I get started.
