I’m a fan of not needing to use the mouse or trackpad too much when recording or (new to me) programming PD.

Is there a way to not have to click outside the (for example) [osc~ 440] box after having entered the code?

basically a key command for pressing “enter” when done with the box.

If i understand you correctly, you’re best bet is to use shortcuts to create other objects/messages

For example… on macOS :

  1. shortcut command+1 (creates object)
  2. type osc~440
  3. shortcut command+1 (“completes” the osc object and makes a new object too)
  4. etc etc

I hope that was articulate enough haha. I don’t know what the pure data shortcuts are on the organelle or Windows.
