If I find one for under 300€, should I go for it? I’d say that for travelling I’ll use my pocket piano and keep organelle as a studio object.
However, after 3 organelles (1 M, 2 OG) I do kind of remember that the OGs were slower.
Am I right? What are your thoughts?
You’re right that they’re slower, but I never upgraded cause I am very happy with my OG organelle. I appreciate that increased processing power is preferable, but for really complex patches I’d probably rather just use Ableton anyway as it’s easier to work complex things out on a big screen like that. I like the relative simplicity of the OG organelle in comparison to that environment though, it forces me to work quickly within limitations and bounce things to audio. Too many options can be a bit fun-sucking and slows things down. If my OG went kaput I might buy the newer M. I dunno, follow your heart.
