I have two Suzuki omnichords and love them a lot. The problem to me is they’re still too big to carry around. Recently I started frequently taking Organelle M outside just for simple jamming with friends, and had this idea to bring omnichord into it.
Currently it’s just on its first version, I’m totally new to pure data coding so it has only the strumming function for now. But the goal is having all original omnichord features, such as grooves and basslines.
The tremolo effects like the original omnichords, low note vibrates in low frequency, higher notes get faster vibrations.
This issue happens because Organelle OS v4 uses Pure Data version 0.49, whereas OS v5 runs Pure Data 0.53.
Upgrading Pure Data to version 0.53 or higher should fix the problem.
For instructions on how to update Pure Data, please refer to this thread.
While it might work on OS v4.1, it’s probably best to update to OS v4.2 first. You can check the official documentation for steps on installing Organelle OS v4.2.
