Employing the aux in PD

Yo! I’m probably going to be posting a fuck ton of PD questions.

Im just making a basic poly synth to start out, but I want to change the wave types with the aux.
Anyone know where I could find such info?

Also, adding effects: looking for how to do this.

In Pd you can do a [r aux] to receive the aux button events, and then make a simple counter to select the 4 wave types.
