Eyesy OS v3 and USB MIDI

Hello,

Posting for the first time here. I’m having an issue with USB MIDI. I’m running Eyesy with OS v3 and I’m using an old Oxygen 49 keyboard, it has both USB and din5 midi. Basically, in the Eyesy OSD display, where you can see what midi notes are triggered, if I’m connected to the midi din port on the keyboard the notes are triggered normally. there is a clear on, off message received. However, if I switch to USB then notes are received but they stay in the on state. When using the T-MIDI GRID mode the issue is really apparent. The squares light up when the notes are triggered but never turn off. Someone mentioned the same issue in the new Eyesy OS thread, I think, but it was never addressed so I though I would bring it up again.

It seems like something is going on with note off messages. So it works with MIDI din, but not USB? that is interesting, I think someone else was having the opposite problem. We will investigate…

Thanks for checking it out. Let me know if you need more info. I can make a video or something.

When using USB does every note get stuck on? or do some of them turn off correctly?

All of them get stuck on. The only way I could clear it was to send midi directly from the din in my keyboard or stop and restart the eyesy service

Hello, just wondering if you were able to reproduce this issue or if there was any update on a possible fix or workaround.
