Melody Mill without eurorack?

I’m kind of new with synths. I’m wondering about the Melody Mill.
I have a Casio px5s keyboard with midi in and out. I also have a roland Ju-08, one of the new boutiques. Anyway, I guess my question is, can I use the Melody Mill kind of as a stand alone synth? Does it produce tones or is it more that it sends out cv voltage for some other piece of gear to make the tones?

Thank you

The Melody Mill is designed for eurorack case and power supply. It does produce some tones on it’s own, but really it is meant for CV control of other modules. The Pocket Piano MIDI version is probably better compliment to the synths you mentioned. It has a bunch of sounds, is stand alone, and also sends / receives MIDI…
