Can the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4S be used with the Organelle M and S? It looks like it was designed as an upgrade to the Compute Module 3 and 3+ for people who don’t want to redesign to use the Compute Module 4. Can it be used with the M & S? I realize the neither of those units is available at present but I could try finding a used one.

I was kind of hoping C&G was one of those specific customers since they have a current product using the older version.

this is me bumping this (actually created my account to do so) because it seems the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4S is available online at this time…
is this a drop in replacement kinda thing? or would code need to be changed? I’m fuzzy on these things…

I will be buying one of this second hand from a friend. According to Him and ‘the oracle’ it should be possible to use the same operative system in both modules. don’t know about audio drivers but maybe worth checking out..

Have you tried the CM4S? Did it work? It looks like it’s available on DigiKey for $25. I’d try it but I don’t have one of the newer Organelles.

Nahh, got an S2 so I gave up on that idea.. I’m loving it so far but I still have to port some things of mine since the os in S2 is now 64 bit so, some old externals don\t work.
