Hello, My ETC has been skipping over modes when pressing the toggle buttons. Is this a software issue or just the buttons?
It is a mechanical Issue, but it should be fixable in software.

How would I go about fixing this? Should I try to contact C&G for help/repairs?

yes, I have similar problem. It’s apparent especially when ETC has not been used for some months and will lessen after more intensive usage. Probably some contact cleaner would solve the issue but I have had not time to try it out.
Also, welcome to forum @rulinn 
C&G sent me a new keypad to replace. I’ll give an update once I finish the repairs.

Let me dig up this thread.
My ETC keeps skipping modes when I go to the next mode (right button). It doesn’t happen when I go to the previous mode (left button).
I have cleaned the contact pads with IPA (pcb and contact stamp) and also simply turned the contact mat over, but the pad of the next button works perfectly on the screenshot button. In addition: if I press the “next mode” button for longer, this does not happen.
I therefore assume that this is more of a software problem.
Do I have any chance of intercepting this on the software side?
