Fuzzuiko

After a long hiatus, I felt like writing an Organelle patch again. I’d almost fallen victim to gear acquisition syndrome, but luckily I managed to escape just in time. I was really fascinated by the Japanese Suiko poetry synthesizers and really wanted one, but I was put off by the relatively high cost for such a simple device. So I figured it would make a great project for an Organelle port. I hope you like it – I sure do

Here’s the Patchstorage Link with additional information: Fuzzuiko | Patchstorage
and here’s a little video demo as well:

Thanks for a cool new patch, definately something else! Would be very useful and nice if it was possible to switch it to polyphonic mode also.

Thanks everyone for the kind words - glad you like it!

@hermanadam I wanted to stick close to the original device which is also monophonic and to be honest it’s also a bit on the tedious side to make this patch polyphonic. As it is a sample-based instrument and each preset-voice is currently based on a single C3 sample from which all other notes are pitched from, it’s not possible. Also the full samplepack is heavy and has a size of ~420 MB which is a bit on the hardcore side for an Organelle patch…
