I’m reorganising my Organelle patches, slowly. So I thought I might video some of the patches I like and use. Won’t be every week as I’m too lazy but sounds good :grinning_face:

I’m starting with a new synth, Polytonous. I wanted a new synth, browsed for one with things I wanted, started to get expensive so I put this together instead. Nothing ground breaking, as lots of good Organelle synths, just things I wanted in the way I wanted: 3 Oscillators, 8 note polyphony, ADSR, filters, FX and 2 assignable LFOs. Sounds all right to me though.

Patch uses stuff from Really Useful Plugins, C&G, Johan Eriksson, Faust externals and other stuff I can’t remember right now probably.

Is this one on patchstorage? I can’t seem to find it. And, will it work on the organelle 1?

Nice to see you back making some stuff. Meet Cassie, Faust DX7 and Groovy Thing live in my regular rotation of vanilla Organelle patches.

Any plans to port Polytonous to Orac?

That wouldn’t work on Orac as it’s a resource hog.

Patch of the Week is up to number 4. BackAndFor Delay. That goes forward, backwards or alternates BackAndFor. There’s 4 delay lines to select your direction and your octave pitching, along with level and delay amount. And a filter to take the harshness of the higher octave settings. No reverb, though. Weird.

If you’re taking requests, I would personally love a vocoder patch for Orac!

Patch of the Week is 5 weeks old. Purple Grain is a granular sampler synth. Made this to stop the urge to buy one of these! Great fun.
