Since I’ve seen the eyesy I’m wondering if it will support one of these HDMI to USB Video Capture Adapters that are flying around for cheap on aliexpress, etc like this one 61ka-DUNKc-L-AC-SL1000 — ImgBB . Or if there are any plans to support it in the future?

Yes I get that. But since we are talking raspberry pi cpm3 and usb host I thought it might be possible to do something with that dongle.
in this older thread ppl are connecting a web cam to Eyesy via USB, maybe this helps
