By the way, you’ll notice that retriggering same key doesn’t now trigger a note! So we need to try and work out how to fix this… here’s one way:
I actually JUST solved this a little bit ago. There was another part of the patch interfering with the signal. I’ll take a look at the other part and make the change and see what happens!
thanks @ghostly606! I appreciate the help. I think this will ultimately make a GREAT sequencer patch.
So I tried the work around. But it made the notes super bassy. And kinda lost a big part of this patches charm. I think it may be best to leave it playing notes on the release. But for the sake of expanding my knowledge and learning about pd. I think it would still be good to try and make this change.
That being said. How could I do the work around without losing the tone?
Would I just use an object and add to the pitch?

I think so too. I’ll most likely leave the trigger release. It really adds to the blips factor.
