I am very new to Organelle and even newer to pd.
I am quite excited about seeing all the patch data appear on my monitor but as yet do not understand exactly how it all works.
To me being the layman it comes over to me as a language I already seem to think I might understand.
If I saw just sheets of zeros and ones on a page I would walk away. No chance.
But…pd seems logical.
I am useless at maths and hate it.
Anyway my question is what is the best way to start to learn to edit a patch?
My aim?…….
Is to produce a sound like the Japanese Koto and play the organelle keys to sound like one.
Is to programme the eight notes in the Japanese scale using the C button to C button on Organelle 2s.
I have ordered the book by Tony Hillerton all about Pure Data.
In the meantime any advice on how to get started?
