Does the EYESY support live coding? If so, which languages?
The language would be Python 3.0 but specifically you’re kind of restricted to the pygame library. If by “live coding” you mean being able to have a coded mode running while editing it, then yes.
Using Python sounds interesting. I had never heard of live coding until I ran across a Eurorack module called the uSEQ that uses LISP as a programming language. I’ve been a LISP enthusiast for most of my life so I had to try it. In the process of investigating live coding I found that it was used for live generation of video as well. I haven’t done anything with “light shows” since I was in high school in the late 60’s. Maybe the EYESY would be a good way for me to get back into it!
