Just spitballing here, and I haven’t even opened up my microphone to look at the guts, but had a thought—Would it be difficult to mod the power supply from the battery so that it is turned off if the 1/4” cable is unplugged, in addition to the power switch? Almost immediately drained my battery by being careless and leaving the power switch on while the mic wasn’t in use.
