The “m5 hack” for 5 moons that Samesimilar made really raise the 5 moons up to another level of usability. Now I just wish that it also had panning and reverb (or delay) like the other wonder ful patch “5 moons tweak” from Donnerbono.
Imagine if someone would like to try to add those features to it…
For example as the following, very similar to in the “5 moons tweak”:
- loop on off + previous song button and the faders will control the volume
- loop on off + new song button and the faders will control the fader right left
- loop on off + next song button and the faders will control the reverb or delay
That would be soo very nice!
Maybe also a possibility to turn of the syncing to do it like the original, but I guess that is to complicated.
Samesimilar told me the following when I asked him:
If you look at the ‘m5 hack’ patch files - there are several .pd files named like fxtrack1.pd, fxtrack2.pd, fxmainout.pd. … etc. Currently these just pass through the audio, but they are each in the main patch signal chain - so it’s set up so that it’s possible to insert effects in there without needing to modify the main patch. I haven’t tested this feature yet, but 99% sure it should just work.
So it might not be to hard to do.
