I wasn’t expecting it but it looks like someone wrote Wacom drivers to fully support their tablets. Even pen proximity works. Only works when GUI over HDMI is present, i.e you have to have the monitor plugged in.
Now here’s a question: I wonder if it would be possible to make it headless via a switchable script, as an X/Y controller. First use that comes to mind is Etch a Synth. Instant PPG Wave Term.

Works perfect just using the HID object eith in pen mode or finger mode.
