WIFI and RDP

Hey guys, my first post. I am expecting my organelle (the “old one”) in a week or so but I would like to be prepared. Questions:

  1. What sort of WIFI USB stick do you recommend?
  2. I don’t like the idea to work via an extra monitor using HDMI. If I work with Raspberry Pi I am used to work with RDP to have the same screen, mouse and keyboard for everything. Is this package pre-installed? Do I need to install it? Is there a better alternative (Windows 10 is my main system).
    Thanks a lot !
    Jens

The Organelle requires USB-WiFi adapters to have a Ralink 5370 chipset. (If you search the forum for this, you can find many results for where to purchase)

You can try @thetechnobear’s Tiger VNC Patch (Remote Patching (using VNC)) for remote patching!

Is this what is generally recommended to avoid another screen etc.? Or is the webserver working nice for Pure Data? I can’t imagine that, shortcuts etc.

The web server is for file management. More in the manual: https://www.critterandguitari.com/manual?m=Organelle_Manual#52-file-management-with-the-organelles-web-server

The Tiger VNC patch is great for remote patching, file management, etc.
