1000ma min, but what's max?

My Organelle just arrived - with a US adaptor. I’m in Ireland.

I have a 1500ma adaptor… Is that safe?

Anyone know the max ma it’ll take safely?

A device will only draw as much current (measured in milliamps or ma) as it needs, so it is really the minimum that is important. The 1500ma should be fine, but you also want to check that the power supply is 9V DC and ‘center - positive’:

I’ve got 500ma max on my adpater. It works for My Moogerfooger but I shouldn’t go lower than 1000ma right?

When the Organelle starts up, it can draw more amperage than when it is running. That’s why it ships with a power supply that provides 1000mA.

It is not recommended to use a power supply that deviates from the above specifications (9VDC, 1000mA, Center-Positive polarity) as unpredictable behavior and/or damage to the instrument could occur.
