Kaleidoloop - Can't access Disk Mode

Hello! Just got a Kaleidoloop, what a nice little box!

I am having an issue accessing the Disk Mode though. No matter how many times I try, my Mac won’t see it. I’m on an Intel 7i. I also used a different cable than the one that came in.

What gives?

ALSO, is there any way to delete the files/samples without going into Disk Mode?

Can you confirm you are connecting to the USB-C connector on the Kaleidoloop (the smaller one that is also power)?
