Last night I finally got my work around realised, this used the ehx eight step running on its slowest beat division to action scene swapping as if pressing the foot switch every few bars…I had to dial in how much “depth” I needed to count as a press as the unit is actually for expression pedal simulation rather than momentary… But it does work… The only oddments is that the scene switches on button release so I have to have my trigger up on step 8 not step 1 but this way it does work well and can track tempo changes
