Hi folks! I’ve set for myself what I presume is a pretty easy modification to the Arper utility.
My eventual goal is to get the point where I understand PD enough to modify the Arp’s behavior in any number of ways, but my immediate goal is to simply edit in an option to walk up and down held/latched notes (ie: holding down CEGB and getting out a loop of CEGBGEC, etc).
As with many on this board, I really struggle to find the time to learn Pure Data to any useful degree, but this is something that feels necessary enough to how I want to utilize the organelle that the matter feels more or less forced!
Anyhow, if this sort of thing is dead simple to anyone here to the degree that, without sacrificing their own time, they could toss out some bones of advice as to what bits of the patch I should be experimenting with, I would be most appreciative!
hey, thanks so much for all these modules. I’m not sure how to install them. Whenever I try to unzip the folders and place it the the usb/orac/modules, it doesn’t show up on the organelle.
The only modules that I could install successfully were the .zop ones. Thanks
hey @WyrdAl
I decided to remove dust today on my good old Organelle.
I’ve load notgen and remember something that i’ve never take time to ask : the probability parameter of the C note can’t go under 50.
I don’t know how to change that ? Thanks, i like a lot this module.
Hi all I’m experimenting with Ableton Link and having trouble getting the Transport clock module to sync properly. The bpmSeq clock works great, but I like some of the features of the Transport clock so curious if anyone had any luck using it with link, or any simple explanation of how to mod the patch to lock in better in terms of proper alignment of beats/bars (tempo sync is fine, but downbeat doesn’t line up).
@WyrdAl - thanks for doing these! Haven’t tried them yet but had a look on patch storage and all look really useful. Especially psyched about berry loops as my one issue w prairie loops was the quantization of the speed. You deserve a lot of praise for these, so thanks again - we’re lucky to have you as part of the community.
I’ve uploaded a “official release” of multicycle sequencer and two other modules (a delay with a diffusor and a tempo synced loop player) to patchstorage:
