If usb connectivity is your only concern, you should try one of that usb to 9v power cable converters.
Also, There is a post in this forum where We actually did a wishlist for hypothetical future organelle updates. Feel free to look for it and add your wishes. Greetings!

Rechargeable batteries are an option still
