I’m coming back to my organelle after a long absence and want to add new sounds on my microSD card. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to copy them on here. I believe last time I just dragged them from my computer to the card. This microSD won’t fit in the card reader on my hub. I believe this one came with the Organelle. Do I need a new micro SD card? I have a new macbook pro silicon so I’m not sure what is compatible now. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a performance in a few days and I wanted to use my Organelle! Running system 3.1. The Organelle 1’s micro SD card is not formatted for file management when inserted in a computer. The way to manage patch files that are located on the micro SD card is to use a USB-WiFi adapter and the Organelle 1’s web browser function. This is covered in manual Section 4.3.
You may want to update your OS first as OS3.1 is an older OS. This is covered in manual Section 7.1. This OS requires an 8GB micro SD card. It sounds like you will need an adapter to insert the micro SD card to the larger SD card slot in your computer:
Since you have a performance soon, you may want to skip the above steps and use a USB flash drive for patch storage instead! This is covered in manual Section 4.2.
