There seems to be a dead short on the input terminals for the batteries on my Organelle M. Batteries get very hot once plugged in and the unit does not boot up. The unit operates properly on shore power with a barrel jack psu. Maybe the step up regulator circuitry got fried or something?? Anyone else experienced this sort of issue before? I have enough experience repairing SMD devices that I can likely perform a repair on my own. But it would be good to have some perspective from an experienced CnG engineer. @chrisk @oweno Any advice?
