Sampler with zn shift

Hi i was wondering if there are any organelle m patches which have zn shift function? This is something found in the ableton sampler.

I use this live with ableton however at the last gig my laptop was not working properly this caused a few issues. I was wondering if it was possible re create a sampler with the zn shift in pure data for the Organelle M?

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Maybe the ‘Cycler’ patch will be helpful?

Thanks for your reply chrisk. I have just downloaded it and had a fiddle. What im after is a full 82 piano size sampler with each note loaded onto a seperate key. Then use zone shift with this. It creates such a cool crazy texture modulation.

I have no idea if this is possible, it does seem like anything could potentially be possible tho?

yes, this is entirely possible!

Ah that’s amazing. Do you have any links to tutorials or examples that would potentially help me try and create this from?

Existing Patches that may be relevant for reference:

  2. 88 Key Sampler Record / Sampler Arpeggiator
  3. Sampler Style 49 | Patchstorage
(there are probably more out there too)

This covers the sampler part nicely, unfortunately there is no information about creating a zone shift anywhere.

adding this to the pi pi piano would be pretty cool Transposing delay | PURE DATA forum~

My rudimentary understanding of what Ableton’s Zone Shift is (after watching one video about it) is that it modulates the incoming MIDI note number so that different samples are played based on the modulating arpeggiator / LFO / etc. If that is the case, I think the links above should be enough to get you started. If not, and I misunderstood what Zone Shift is, I apologize.
