I would like to sample my Pocket Piano into a, for example, Decent Sampler file so my friend can use it in his music (he lives far away). Is this something you are allowed to do?
Just want to make sure!

I think you are allowed to sample your instruments as you wish and use sample as you wish. The only point I would possibly doubt about is whether you can sell sample banks based on such or such instrument. But I cannot see how an instrument manufacturer would reclaim royalties on a recording.
Anyone prove me wrong, Iām curious too.
