So I haven’t had a chance to look into pure data yet but I’ll get going on it this weekend, I was wondering if anyone here has gone from knowing nothing to createing a complex patch, and how long did it take you to feel confident with it?

It’s not too bad to start as a beginner, but PD has a lot of depth and is extremely powerful. Start by installing PD-Extended and going through the help docs and tutorials. It’s a lot of fun.
For myself personally, it took me a month or two to get comfortable from a complete noob to having some idea of knowing what I was doing.
I thought organelle ran pd vanilla?
Sorry! yes, you’re right – Vanilla on the Organelle.
When learning about PureData in general, outside of the realm of the Organelle, extended does come with a grip of extra patches and ideas that can be inspiring when learning.
