Coming back to Organelle after 6 years

I’m returning to my OG Organelle that Iast used in 2020 and considering a full reset to get going again. I’m on OS 4.0, but surprised to see that that may still be the latest firmware - is that the case?

I remember the early days of Orac but tbh I never really understood it so never used it. Perhaps because I was mostly building my own little patches and sequencers, not really using pre-made stuff

I also can’t remember how to get the Wifi set up, and no longer have the computer that has the VNC installed.

I do still have an old Monome 64 that I once upon a time had working with the Organelle so I’d liek to get that working again.

So my question is, what did I miss? And starting fresh today what are the key jumping off points?

Cheers!

Welcome back :+1:

Except for some patches and more cpu power in newer editions of the Orgenelle you haven’t missed a lot.

I too am returning to the Organelle after a long break. Recent “vibecoding” advances have me excited that i might be able to make some patches that were beyond my skill. I still have plans of making the organelle the heart of a setup. Made some progress on this a while ago with a big custom PD patch. Now looking at a C++ solution to hopefully eek out more performance and also make better use of vibe code tools.
