Has anyone had to clean the contacts in an organelle?

The reliability of individual keys has really dropped. I would imagine that the contacts have become somewhat corroded. I’d like to clean them off, and restore my beautiful instrument but I would like to hear from someone who has actually done this. Can you give me some pointers?

@SoundAround - I’d suggest contacting C&G directly about this. It would be great to see the solution posted here, eventually, too. Good luck!

M too. I have an OG organelle and new M. I’m willing to experiment on the old one to clean or replace the keypad contacts.

Well, I’m very happy to announce that, after sending an email to Critter & Guitari, I was contacted by who let me know that there was a part that I needed to replace inside my organelle. It wasn’t quite what I was expecting when I saw inside but fortunately the repair was easy enough that I was able to get in there and fix it pretty confidently.

Chris sent me a replacement key pad for free and included a link to a YouTube video that was straightforward and easy to follow. I am a happy camper. I like this little synth and It’s working like new now. I’m sure that if your instrument is having similar problems you’ll get the same level of help from this company. It gives me a lot of confidence to buy more stuff from them in the future!

Thanks for the advice Joe. That did the trick!
