So I lent a friend of mine my organelle for a while, but he actually didn’t use it for quite a while, so it was just lying around at his place with batteries inside for a while. And since I got it back recently, it won’t turn on anymore. I haven’t tried new batteries, but 9VDC also won’t work…
Is there any troubleshooting or thing I can check myself by unscrewing and looking inside it, or smth?
Hi, Nika, Does the LED light up when you turn on the switch? What color is it? If it lights up white, it’s likely that the MicroSD card is either missing or has a reading error.

Hi @Nika! I have an Organelle M but never tried it with batteries… According to this post, it might be possible that batteries may be prioritized over the 9VDC in the power source hierarchy: Battery power over power plug
Wild guess: Probably removing the batteries might solve your issue?
Hey! I already tried, because I thought the batteries might have leaked or something – even though I did not see any visual damage…
So no… probably not.
@Nika - Can you upload a photo that shows the specs of the power supply you are using to power the Organelle M?
