MicroSD card fell inside the enclosure — how to open?

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my EYESY. While trying to connect it to WiFi, I restarted the unit and after that it stopped outputting video signal. After inspecting the rear panel, I noticed the microSD card had slipped past the slot and fallen inside the enclosure — I can hear it moving when I shake the unit.

The LED turns light blue on startup so the unit seems to be running, but without the card seated properly there’s no video output.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there a safe way to open the enclosure and retrieve the card? Any guidance on screw location or disassembly would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

  1. Set EYESY power switch to ‘Off’ position.
  2. Disconnect everything from the EYESY (power cable, video cable, USB devices, etc.).
  3. Unscrew the four screws on the bottom (within the rubber feet).
  4. Remove the bottom enclosure from the top enclosure.
  5. Reinsert the SD card.

To reassemble, insert the bottom enclosure within the top enclosure and fasten screws & rubber feet. Do not over tighten these - just enough so the rubber feet do not spin.
