Booting Up

hellooo,

I am having a problem with my eyesy. I just moved (so I have new WiFi) & somehow cannot get my eyesy to connect OR even show video/the boot up screen. I have been following the correct steps (plugged in to power and hdmi, put in wifi adapter before turining on, holding shift button when turning on). I have tried with multiple outputs (screen and projector) and still no visual connection. all that happens is a rainbow screen flashes and then back to no connection. it worked great before, i am not sure if there’s something i am doing wrong or need to reset. my eyesy wifi still exists in my history but doesnt show up when i am trying to connect it now. i also cannot access eyesy.local or the ip address in any browser, private or public. let me know what i can do or try to make it work! thanks so much

Can you confirm that you are using the correct power supply? The output specs should be 9VDC, minimum 1000mA, and have a 2.1mm tip with center positive polarity.

If the power supply is correct, please ‘reseat’ the SD card:

  1. Please power down the EYESY
  2. Locate the thin slit in the rear of the enclosure (above ‘EYESY’ text)
  3. Use a pin or paperclip to press in on the black SD card to eject it and it will spring out gently. No need to fully remove it from the EYESY.
  4. Once ejected, please reinsert it. (If you fully removed the card make sure it does not fall in the enclosure.) You will have to use the same pin/paperclip to press it in until you hear/feel a ‘click’
  5. Restart the EYESY
