Organelle M MIDI Out issue

Hi @chrisk hope all is well on your end. I am still having issues with the outboard 1/8" midi ports. This might be since the OS 4.0 update. I am trying to just send clock over the 1/8 jack to some guitar pedals. I did a fresh install of OS 4.0 two times. After, they seemed to send some clock, but again it was very intermittent and sporadic.

I tried using my USB to 5pin midi adapter and that works great. After using that, the 1/8 jacks aren’t sending any clock at all now. Even if I unplug and restart the organelle. I have adjusted settings in the Midi config menu to make sure I am on the correct channel.

I know that OS 4.0 was supposed to fix these midi issues, but not for me :frowning:

Any suggestions/ thoughts would be appreciated!

Thank you

Which pedals are you trying to send to? Are the pedals’ TRS-MIDI ports expecting Type A or Type B connections? The Organelle M’s TRS-MIDI ports are Type A.

I am trying to send midi clock to the Zoia, and I tried with my ditto x4 looper. I know the Zoia takes type A, so I know it’s not a midi type problem. I also have 1/8" type B to A converter cables that I have tried as well.

It is interesting that the organelle was sending some sporadic clock signals right after reinstalling OS 4.0, but now it isn’t sending anything out via 1/8" TRS

I have also been able to receive midi on the 1/8 TRS from a midi controller, so that seems to be working. Looks like it might be something just with the 1/8" TRS out port?

Like I said the USB midi out via Midi 1x1 works with the zoia/ditto.

It sounds like you’ve already done this, but just in case- have you tried a different cable from the Organelle TRS-MIDI out to the Zoia? Have you tried the Organelle’s TRS-MIDI out to another device?
