Organelle music

The EP I just finished up uses the Organelle M pretty heavily in the mix with a bunch of other gear. I’ve found that once I got over the initial excitement of just making a bunch of cool noises, the Organelle can really be such an inspiration machine, like you can just find a cool lead on it and then build an entire song around it.

Made this using the new (and excellent) Prairy Loops patch, along with a kaleidoloop for even more unquantized looping goodness. The many uses of the organelle just keep unfolding!

I love doing improv stuff with my Organelle. I have more vids on my channel too.

My first electronic / improvised performance using organelle OG running s3rquencer
(patches) +
a monosynth made with Axoloti.
The visuals are also controlled/ sequenced by the organelle . Bd/Sd/hh channels apply different Fx on videos that are launched from midi channels 13/14. Certain notes trig random videos and I use probabilistic trigs to avoid too much repetition (both in audio and video).

And When the sun shines:

hey i just released the lead single from my first album. it’s called “tunnel syndrome” and it prominently features the organelle m and it’s mellotron patch so i thought you all might wanna check it out. it doesn’t kick in til the last third but it’s a pretty important part of the song. it’s streaming wherever, check it out: tunnel syndrome - sckdrwr

(it’s also on soundcloud)

Nice output everyone, i’d like to listen to all this creative stuff.
I also have a little experiment with my Organelle M using:
ORAC with MOTH, RNGS, FUSION, NOTEGEN.
+DreadBox Medusa and Digitone.

hi,
lovely very.
question : when controling grids with my opz, i can’t seem to keep my parameters when changing patterns on the opz.
is there like a ghost trig fonction on the opz for keeping midi infos per patterns, like the yellow trigs on the digitakt ?
i don’t want to add a red trig on the opz, as it trigs unwanted trigs on the grids.
thanks

Strat loop + generative perc + live playing through.

i recently released my first album, “infrequent life changes,” and the organelle m is prominently featured in almost half the songs. if you wanna check it out, it’s streaming pretty much everywhere you’d already listen to music. i hope you enjoy it.

here it is on soundcloud too:

I’ve got a couple of new drone/ambient songs and a field recording on Bandcamp, Spotify, and Youtube (I made a visual accompaniment too). Organelle M is the only instrument used on these tracks. I hope you check them out and enjoy!

I recorded some original music playing the organelle and had a lot of fun with it.
The first track uses the reverse delay patch on audio taken of zoo flamingos, layered with an audio sample of my lover screaming while having a piece of glass removed from her foot. While she screams OHGOD I come in with the lofi piano patch and play a spooky melody and slowly detune it. You probably get the idea…

I’m still learning how to be sophisticated with this beautiful instrument

Other tracks feature a lot of guitar with LFO delay and constant gardner, two of my favorites.

That was deep!

Thank you very much for sharing the aural s.

“The Wreckage of the Golden Urn” off this record I released last year contains a fair amount of Organelle material: :arrow_forward:︎ dizzy giant | bly wallentine (bandcamp.com)

This record is almost all Organelle-generated/processed (a lot of Segmenti shit!): the giant’s appendages | bly wallentine (bandcamp.com)

This one also has quite a bit of Organelle material: paradisiacal deceiver | bly wallentine (bandcamp.com)

I’ve got some one-off stuff here:
This one is all Organelle, I believe: hallowed soylent - YouTube

This one, as well: big water - YouTube

And this really silly one! sick dos - YouTube

Also, I post videos of little songs on my Instagram and TikTok every day or two, many of which use my Organelle for accompaniment! I’d love to follow any of y’all who use Instagram or TikTok.

Bless you all! Have a beautiful day <3

Love always,
Bly

This is wonderful!
