Can you punch in and out? Can one track be loop, but not other tracks?

The one limitation I see of this versus my tascam cassette 4 track is that I could cue the song to a spot and add recording for just that verse or bar.

With the start stop always returning to zero I wonder if during playback you can arm a track and record something then unarm the track? Essentially punching in to record on that part of the track…?

It would be good to see if there’s some long form (non looped) examples in the video tutorials.

Also can you have just the drum track loop but have the other four tracks play long form?

The current design of the 5 Moons’ software does not allow for punching in unfortunately.

This is a possibility, but would require modification of the main pd patch.
