Guitar patches - Ambient Patch?

Hi, not sure if this post is okay here.
Problem: I’lld love to try using already defined patches as a guitar pedal, just for fun some distortion things sounding like standard effects.
First question: Which distortion patch would you recommend?
With thte “ambient guitar” patch I have a strange issue.
If I try out 60, 62 and so on I see the changes from the knobs on my screen, the rulers are moving but the display on organelle doesn’t change and I hear no difference.
What I need is to turn the knobs to the very limit and then to turn them back, suddenly the sound and the display changes… what is that?
PS I am not sure if this is the right place to post, sorry if not, feel free to move it.
Cheers

Not sure about the ambient patch, but I personally use mostly orac 2.0 with guitar. Good for standard guitar fx and also some ambient stuff if you choose the right modules.

There is also a standard distortion effect you can get from it

It’s a bit of a learning curve to get used to the patch, but it really is my favorite thing for guitar processing on the organelle.

How about the FX13 patch? Granular Freezer patch? I also like the one called Noisy Heaven.

Trying out FX13, nice one. Thanks.

I think I will install ORAC tonight. Absolutely amazing work.
