I’m really wanting to make some sounds on my Organelle similar to the modular synth beauty that is Emily Sprague’s Water Memory. See for example:
Curious what comes to mind when people hear this in terms of patches?

What do you hear? There’s a few elements going on in there.
Sounds a bit like sound on sound looping on tape where the 1st generation of sounds got quite ‘wobbly’, dusty and lowpassed. and the Synth drone might have been played in parallel since at times it has harmonics not present in the background ambient sounds…
Maybe some boutique guitar pedal could do the looping / degradation part? . Just noticed that at 11:50 all the ‘ambient cluster’ gets pitched down while the drone remains. (Which supports the theory.)
This music reminded me of the album 1979 from Deru. (A must!)
I’m making music into that direction but I lack the dusty / lowpassy quality… Maybe I should try to implement it soon!
