A simple mod of the Arper module here, for anyone who likes to play with arpeggiators, this module allows octave transposition direct from the arper’s main page. I’m uploading it here before patch storage in case anyone has suggestions or additional feature ideas, and if I’m capable, glad to improve and add to it.

arpseqOct.zip (29.1 KB) midioutOct.zip (1.5 KB)

  1. Same mod I did for original orac arper, but for the bpm_sequence version (beatdiv moved to second page)
  2. Basically same thing, but for orac midiout module - transposition is on main page, the other pages are still there!
Thanks to @thetechnobear and to @oweno for the original modules and for always being so helpful

edit: for the midioutOct - any solution to avoid stuck notes when switching octaves while playing?
edit: moved midi channel to main page as well - realized the stuck notes are an issue with this parameter as well, would be pretty cool to switch channels while playing!

Samplement is really cool! Very nice that you can access all the sample folders.
Sample loading wasn’t working on my Organelle-1 at first though. but I replaced /sdcard/ with /tmp/ in the filenames (which should map to either /usbdrive/ or /sdcard/ correctly on either version) and it works for me.
I made that change in my repository if you want to get it (also removed the kontrolmodule object and default In->Out note/audio connections which are no longer needed in Orac 2.0).

Thank you very much @WyrdAl :slightly_smiling_face: i needed these informations, i’m gonna try it today and i may update my other modules soon, i thought that the kontrolmodule thing was needed to automate parameters…

I like it ! The cpu meter is a cool feature

I’m sorry i feel dumb but i didn’t find how to download from github, so i applied the changes you mentioned manually from my last v1.2, seems to work the same on my unit, i uploaded it as v1.3 on patchstorage.

I’ve just posted some stuff on patchstorage, including some new modules.
Here’s a module for doing modular-style ratchet effects:

And an Orac 2.0 port of polystep polyphonic step sequencer, which now will save the pattern in the preset, and adds two modes that let you use the incoming notes to transpose a playing sequence or trigger each step individually.

Hi @WyrdAl !! Thanks for these releases, i’m really excited by the Polystep but i can’t run the sequence on it, chords are recorded and mapped to the keyboard but i can’t play the sequence…

Also interested by your arperseqOct @TheDeadFarmer but it doesn’t seems to work…

EDIT : ok sorry i found my mistake, i was using the new clock module and these modules work with the old ones… it makes me want to ask : the recent sequencer_bpm serie was made with a different type of clock (360 ticks instead of 24), can i ask why…? What clock module is the best to use to sync with other hardware at the moment ? My favourite one was U-clockswingx but since there’s a new one i kinda forgot it. last weekend i had a jam with friends and i was missing some functionnalities on the new one (start/stop, delay, …) so i’m working on a clock module but i’d like some advices here… thanks :v:

Yes, I was going to make note of this… All the stuff in the sequencer_bpm collection operates on 360 numbered ticks per quarter note. The clock module outputs these ticks, but it also outputs the old style 24 ticks per quarter note, so it should be able to drive any of the non sequencer_bpm modules as well. (but maybe it doesn’t, I’ll have to check ?)

I think it doesn’t work because polystep uses ‘24ppq’ instead of ‘master-ticks’ from the old clock module, I’ll switch to master-ticks for compatibility.

I’ve uploaded a new version that works with the sequence_bpm clock module:

could you be more specific? or was this also a result of wrong clock? was working fine when I tested it but I will double check next time I’m with organelle

yes, sorry it was my mistake, it works fine

edit : i released a few updates and a reverb module…
